righteous saviour
one name amidst so many
i cannot even keep track of all my names
Jesus has been called this to save His people
Jeremiah was speaking of the Israelites who were far and near
and I suppose now is meant for us too 
righteous saviour
that has to be a many definition name
if He were not righteous how could He save us
a savior has to be one who is strong,courageous and bold
one who can summon the good and bad alike to round them up in His mission and give them hope and love
He rescues the strong and weak and makes you know there is hope in the world
How can we not tell our kids about such a savior
He allowed Himself to be ridiculed and spat upon and hung on a tree
in the end He did this for all not just for some
that IS  a righteous Savior

WHEN I TAKE MY WALKS OR PRAY OR EVEN CLEAN,SEW,KNIT SO ON, I LIKE TO THINK ABOUT YOU.
 IT IS NOT THE SORT OF THINKING THAT A MOM OR WIFE DOES BUT A DWELLING ON WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN MY MIDST.
 THE BUBBLE I LIVE IN SEEMS SO IMPORTANT TO ME YET I KNOW IT IS AMIDST THOUSANDS EVEN BILLIONS IN THIS UNIVERSE.
 YET YOU ALLOW ME TO FEEL IT IS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE, MAYBE I GET A BIT EGOTISTICAL ABOUT THAT TOO.
 WHATEVER THE DAY BRINGS SEEMS I AM ALWAYS WHINING OR PINING ABOUT SOMETHING.
ONCE I SAW A BABY ELEPHANT THROW A TANTRUM AND HIS MAMA JUST WALKED CALMLY BY,OF COURSE MAKING SURE HE WAS SAFE AND NOT HARMING HIMSELF.
I GUESS YOU SURVEY MY FITS LIKE THAT AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR ME TO WALK ALONG WITH YOU.

HOPE

It is a wonderful time to know the Lord
It is also sad to know He has not been received by so many who need Him
How His heart must ache to see His dear ones stray and believe lies of the enemy
what is this sadness that dwells amongst us so freely?
The sadness is death
and what is the joy that is offered
it is eternal life in Jesus Christ

'rainy day

cool bit damp maybe in 40s

took a walk down to the river so nice to see a lively water nearby

caravans coming into our land

God alone will lend them hand

our days are spent in doubt even fear

why all this when God is near?

there is a city here a city there

Gods people dwell most everywhere

and where they live is where there be

a home for those whose lives need thee

ty jesus

Blessed are the little cats

Granma Barbara says:
 Cats and dogs, elephants and zebras.....
all of the mammals and animals here on earth have babies
we love them so because they are cute and offer us a chance to show our love
we take in strays and if they are pregnant do everything we can to insure the babies survive and mama is okay

yet the mama cat  dog or elephant does not have an option to abort
to get rid of her baby or say it is unwanted or inconvenient
in fact she will fight to the death for her unborn baby's survival
and, later when that babe is born, will continue to do the same

wonder if those same mamas would try to kill their unborn offspring?
wonder if their preganancies are "INCONVENIENT"?

Looking back means you have decided to not go forward
For one second you decide to turn back to a time when something was not right or a decision was made that was not good
and you become a pillar of salt
Looking back means you are not enjoying what God has given you now to enjoy
and may cause you to miss the moments ahead which He plans for your pleasure
Looking back makes your neck strain but looking forward gives you clear sight and a relaxed frame
Children look only at now and enjoy the sunshine
Adults check the weather to see what is coming and let this beautiful day waste

I like to think I will not look back but my body and mind know differently
Me?I became a pillar of salt long ago
So gathering up what is left is not easy but God knows and has my life in His hands
He shapes and molds and gets me shaking again just like salt in a shaker
He grinds the salt if He has to and it may hurt but
in the end it is all for good

Looking ahead is His prescription for looking back
and may I only look back to remember His goodness and what He has taught me
in Jesus name amen

The sons of Aaron were killed dead by God for using illegal fire.
After this God forbids wine and fermented drink to be used in the temple ...
Were Aaron's sons drunk? Is this what caused the rule?
Pretty hard punishment for these two fellows indeed!!!!
But God had to get His message out how important this service to Him is.

I wonder often about how shoddy service affects our walk with God? Course we are not struck dead but many times when we suffer or have these unusual trials I think about how my walk with Him is going?
"SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
AND ALL ALLL ALL YES ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU"Matthew6:33

Good things overflowing in His love

                          SATAN CANNOT MAKE GNATS

  Most interesting event to me in the book of Exodus is when God had Moses call for the plague of gnats and this one particular time, the magic sorcerers could not conjure up gnats.

 These magicians who served Pharaoh were able to compete with Moses in turning rods into snakes, conjuring up frogs and even getting water to turn to blood.

 HOWEVER when it came to a simple gnat, those pesty little bugs who can nip and annoy even a most patient picknicker,

these magicians could not conjure.

 HAH! I would think this would be a piece of cake for them after the many signs they just performed.

 But leave it to our wonderful God to stump them with a gnat.

 So guess my point is that even when you may think the enemy can get in there and case many troubles always remember:

He could not hurt a fly, no wait, he could not even get one gnat to move and appear.

 Which reminds me, we can step on his puny head being the gnat that he is.    EXODUS 8:16-19
